Waiting Times
Surgeries will normally start on time and we endeavour to keep them running on time.
However, there may be occasions due to unforeseen circumstances, where this is not possible and we ask for your patience.
When a doctor is called away on an emergency we will inform the patients and give them the opportunity to book an alternative appointment, or if preferred, to be seen by another doctor.
Cancelling Appointments
If you are not able to make your appointment, please cancel this as soon as possible to enable others to benefit from it.
Missed Appointments
Due to the number of patients failing to attend for their appointment this may mean that you may not be able to see the doctor on the day that you wish to.
In an attempt to try and resolve this, the practice has developed the following policy:
All patients are encouraged to contact the surgery up to the time of their appointment if unable to attend.
If you fail to attend 2 appointments, we will write to you advising that you have missed appointments and are at risk of being removed from the practice list if further appointments are missed.
Failureto attend 3 appointments in a 12 month period will result inremoval from the practice list and you will have to find an alternative GP practice.
