We have a duty of care to ensure we protect this information for you.
We share this information with some other NHS services such as hospitals, in order to improve the care you receive.

Primary Care Network (PCN)
We are a member of PCH4 (Primary Care Network), this means we will be working closely with a number of Practices and health and care organisations to provide healthcare services to you.
During the course of our work we may share your information with these Practices and health care organisations/professionals.
We will only share this information here it relates to your direct healthcare needs and when we do this, we will always ensure that appropriate agreements are in place to protect your information and to keep it safe and secure.

National data opt-out
The national data opt-out was introduced on 25 May 2018, enabling patients to opt out from the use of their data for research or planning purposes, in line with the recommendations of the National Data Guardian in her Review of Data Security, Consent and Opt-Outs.
